Soooo, the first of what I hope will be a few wallpapers with the new photos – the trouble is choosing which ones to use.  And when I say trouble I just mean remembering to breathe – you know, the usual.    Friday looked like it was an amazing day – I hope he enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed seeing him.  I know I’m talking like I was there but it was enough to be able to watch the livestreams and enjoy with friends.

First of all, happy Rob Bel Ami premiere day to you all!!  *flails*  So, SO excited to see him!!

Anyway, as I mentioned in my previous post, today is going to be different.  No Friday edits but another in my (very) occasional ‘inspired by Twi fan fiction’ wallpapers.  This is for the lovely TongueTwied’s story ‘Harvard Can Wait’.  It’s a wonderful story about destiny/fate and there’s (for me) a definite supernatural vibe running through it too.  Anyway, I really loved this story and this wallpaper is the result of my initial musings. I don’t want to say too much about the story and why I went so dark but there were scenes that really struck a chord with me emotionally and I went with that.  So yeah, I really don’t want to spoil the story by saying more in-case you read it but let me just say….another wonderful Edward *le sigh*.  I hope you enjoy this wallpaper anyway – in all it’s darkness.    I’ve also included (below) the banner I created – with feedback help from @17foreverlisa (thanks hon!).  Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story with us kiTT – I am in awe!! <3

Oh Georges!! *le sigh*   This is another attempt from me with that bad boy Georges Duroy.  I wanted to try my hand at a movie poster I guess and this has been swirling around in my head for a little while.  Just a vague idea until now.  Obviously the tagline used is just my own – ‘When you already have nothing, what is there to lose?’ – it was just what I was trying to convey in the wallpaper.  I hope it makes sense

This would have come along eventually but was spurred on to be a birthday treat for Vertigo over at RPAU site.  However, this is now the final version after some tweaks.   Anyway, constructive criticism always welcome….I really want to try to keep improving.  So feel free to lay it on me about composition and what not.

Oh and if you haven’t already checked out Maria’s AMAZING video tribute to Georges over at RPAU – click here <youtube> to check it out.  You won’t regret it – soooo HOT!!!!  No seriously.  You will not remember your own name after watching him in action.  Just saying.

So would you??  Risk it all for Georges I mean?  I love that caption – “love him and you lose” which they featured on the 3rd poster we saw recently….it’s quite dark I think.  But yeah, love him and you lose?  I don’t think so….you’re only going to feel like a WINNER when Georges gets all touchy feely with you.  Possibly there might be repercussions for them later on but oh well – it’s Georges, and he’s worth it.    Seriously, that photo where his fingers are stroking the back of her neck??  I can’t….there are just….please let me….I won’t….what….*thud*  (Don’t get me started on him whispering sexy naughtiness into Uma’s ear there….jeez Georges). *fans self*

Yeah, apparently I’m supposed to make it through an advance screening of the movie on Feb 23rd….I can only apologise now if normal programming doesn’t resume for quite a while after that screening.  Just saying. 

p.s. the text in the background is actually taken from the first two pages of the book itself.  Just thought I’d come clean.   Hope you enjoy this one.

Thought I’d dip into the ‘neverending’ photoshoot….I’m sticking with warmer/muted tones for these today so they’re all a similar theme colour wise, it just seemed to work better for the chosen photos.   Perhaps they’re not exactly ‘experimental’ but I hope you enjoy them all the same.  I tend to get carried away with my shading/highlighting but feel free to let me know what does and doesn’t work for you!!

Happy Friday everyone!!  So unless you’ve been living on the moon lately you will know that Rob’s real fans/supporters pulled together and pushed him and Cosmopolis to an amazing victory in the MTV online movie brawl (for those who couldn’t vote but wanted to – I know you were with us in spirit!!).  Yes it was just a silly online poll, and yes it isn’t guaranteed box office numbers BUT there was a feeling of wanting to prove to him (and possibly the outside world if they’d listen!) how much we support HIM and his future career.  I am so excited about Cosmopolis – it’s going to be amazing.  I just know it!!

So the lovely Sue who comments here and over at RPAU had the brilliant idea of adding David Cronenberg’s recent wonderful comments about Rob into my Friday edits.  These are just a quick attempt, I hope you enjoy.  To read the fantastic interview with David Cronenberg in full check it out over at RPAU <here>

Howdy.  I’m going to let the desktop do the talking (for a change)….the lyrics in the background are ‘Here I am, this is me’ taken and repeated from Bryan Adams’ song – ‘Here I Am’.  It just seemed to fit and I for one absolutely LOVED the new look.    Go Rob!!  And many congrats on collecting the award on behalf of Water for Elephants.  The movie truly deserves recognition as does he.

I thought I’d ‘do’ Dossier photoshoot Rob this time around….the awesomeness (that’s a word, right??) that was Rob at the PCAs this week has breifly been hinted at in the last couple.  I will be taking a closer look at those pics for another Friday/desktop – just not enough time this week.
